- 极其钝感的炸药:硝酸铵是极其钝感的炸药,比安全炸药c4更为钝感。一支工业8#雷管(起爆c4只是用6#就可以了)都不足以起爆混合了敏化剂的硝酸铵。硝酸铵是最难起爆的硝酸炸药,撞击感度是:50kg锤50cm落高,不会发生爆炸。而著名炸药硝化甘油的撞击感度是200g锤,20cm落高,100%爆炸。而且硝酸铵一旦溶于水,起爆感度更是大大下降,根本是人力不可能撞击引爆硝酸铵。
- 两个主要特性:1,易溶于水,溶水时吸热、易吸湿和结块,产品一般制成颗粒状。硝酸铵有5种晶型:其代号分别为 α(四面晶系)、β(斜方晶系)、γ(斜方晶系)、δ(四方晶系)、ε(正方晶系)。每种晶型仅在一定温度范围内稳定,晶型转变时伴有热效应和体积变化。特别是当环境温度在32.1°C上下变动时,颗粒硝酸铵会自身碎裂成粉状而引起结块。有两种防结块方法:1,可在硝酸铵中加入约1%的硫酸铵与磷酸氢二铵混合物;2,在欧洲一些国家还用硝酸镁作为硝酸铵的防结块剂。 2,易发生热分解,温度不同,分解产物也不同。纯硝酸铵在常温下是稳定的,对打击、碰撞或摩擦均不敏感。但在高温、高压和有可被氧化的物质存在下会发生爆炸,在生产、贮运和使用中必须严格遵守安全规定。
