用途一:用作合成树脂和合成纤维的原料及溶剂
用途三:是生产己内酰胺和己二酸的原料，用作油漆、油墨、合成树脂、合成橡胶的溶剂和稀释剂，还用作皮革脱脂剂等
防护措施:高浓度的环己酮蒸气有麻醉性，对中枢神经系统有抑制作用。对皮肤和粘膜有刺激作用。高浓度的环己酮发生中毒时会损害血管，引起心肌，肺，肝，脾，肾及脑病变，发生大块凝固性坏死。通过皮肤吸收引起震颤麻醉、降低体温、终至死亡。在25ppm的气氛下刺激性小，但在50ppm以上时，就无法忍受。对小鼠的LC为0.008。工作场所环己酮的最高容许浓度为200mg/m3。生产设备应密闭，应防止跑、冒、滴、漏。操作人员穿戴好防护用具。
