- 有机合成。是一种高效温和的脱苄基保护基团试剂，尤其对含有易被还原官能团的化合物，采用该试剂不会影响分子中的其它官能团；还应用于脱去三级胺上的烷基, 所得氨基甲酸酯在甲醇中加热，即可脱去甲酸酯基得到高收率的仲胺；医药合成方面用于头孢泊肟酯，坎地沙坦酯，头孢替安酯，巴氨西林，安吡昔康等。
