用途一:该品为收敛药和防腐药，外用于湿疹等皮肤病。
方法一:用没食子酸和硝酸铋成盐，一步反应即得没食子酸铋。在不锈钢罐中投入没食子及适量的水，加热至90℃使之溶解，过滤可得没食子酸水溶液。另取硝酸铋加少许热水，搅拌至无硝酸铋颗料为止，在搅拌下加放没食子酸水溶液中，再继续搅拌0.5h，出料。经沉淀，过滤，滤饼以50℃水洗，无酸味后再过滤，在70℃以下干燥，得到次没食子酸铋。
