- 该品作为饲料、食品抗氧化剂应用较广,将该品喷雾在脱水饲料或收获前的饲料作物上,可防止脂肪、蛋白质饲料在贮存过程中变质。可用于维生素A和维生素E等药品的保存。该品也可用于苹果、梨子等水果的保鲜。也是污染性橡胶防老剂(抗氧剂AW),主要用于天然橡胶和合成橡胶,特别是丁苯橡胶。抗氧性和抗臭氧性优越,耐候性、耐热性和耐屈挠龟裂性亦佳。用于苹果和梨,能防治苹果虎皮病。

- 鉴别试验:试样lmg在乙腈10ml中的溶液,在短波长的紫外线下观察时,应呈强荧光。
- 用途四:乙氧基喹啉一般以喷雾法喷布于饲料表面,可有效防止饲料中油脂酸败和蛋白质氧化,且能防止维生素变质,具有抗氧化作用。饲料中用量100-150g/kg。
