  • 用途四:草酸主要用于生产抗菌素和冰片等药物以及提炼稀有金属的溶剂、染料还原剂、鞣革剂等。此外,草酸还可用于合成各种草酸酯、草酸盐和草酰胺等产品,而以草酸二乙酯及草酸钠、草酸钙等产量最大。草酸还可用于钴-钼-铝催化剂的生产、金属和大理石的清洗及纺织品的漂白。
  • 灭火措施:火灾时用干粉灭火剂、雾状水、CO2或抗溶性泡沫灭火。泡沫和水对熔解的草酸会引起沸溢现象。可用水使暴露在火中的容器保持冷却; 也可用水将溢漏物冲离火区。
  • 含草酸多的食物:菠菜、苋菜、空心菜、芥菜、木耳菜、韭菜、蕹菜、洋葱、茭白、竹笋等草酸含量就很高,茶、葡萄、花生、可可、土 豆、大豆、李子、大米等也含有少量草酸,而黄瓜、南瓜、西瓜、丝瓜等则完全不含草酸。 每100克菠菜和苋菜中含草酸分别为606毫克和1142毫克,木耳菜含1150毫克,空心菜中含691毫克,芥菜中含471毫克。

  • 草酸的提纯:草酸用作沉淀钙、钍和稀土元素,用作钽、铌熔块的浸出,用作掩蔽剂,用作高锰酸钾、硫酸铈标准溶液的标定,显微微晶分析检验钠和其他许多元素,在精制甲醇和甘油作为脱色剂。 市售草酸试剂中常含有草酸钙,可以直接用于一般用途,或者只从水溶液重结晶提纯。 草酸提纯方法: (1) 除去硫酸根结晶法 称取60g待提纯草酸于500ml烧杯中,加入100ml去离子水溶解并加热至40~50℃溶解完全后,加入10g活性炭并搅拌20 min,如有硫酸根,可加入少量氢氧化钡使其沉淀,趁热用布氏漏斗抽滤,滤液浓缩 (温度不宜过高) 至50ml时取下冷却。在不断搅拌下结晶析出,用布氏漏斗抽滤析出的结晶,用少量冷水洗涤两次,于30~40℃真空干燥箱中干燥,每半小时搅拌一次直至不粘勺时为止,贮存于磨口试剂瓶中。 (2) 水重结晶法 将100g二水合草酸溶解于700ml沸水中,煮沸2~3min。将上层清液倾出,加入30ml浓盐酸后冷却。将析出的草酸用水重结晶、抽滤、干燥。

  • 草酸中毒:草酸、草酸钾、草酸钠或草酸铵都是常见的化合物。草酸为无色透明结晶体,常用以去除墨水或铁锈渍,清洗金属器皿;在草帽工厂用作漂白剂。由于与硫酸镁性状相似,可发生误服中毒,用以自杀者较之误服案例为多。草酸味酸苦,故罕见于他杀。有将草酸注入子宫堕胎而发生中毒的例案。某些植物,如大黄叶或嫩茎,酸苜蓿及酢酱草等中含有草酸盐,人(多为小儿)、畜食用过多也可引起中毒。草酸致死量为5~15g,因易发生呕吐,故实际中毒死者,多吞服15~30g以上。草酸及浓草酸盐溶液对胃肠粘膜有腐蚀作用,溶液浓度减少,局部作用随之减轻。草酸易从胃肠道吸收,吞服大量后,口腔、咽喉、食管灼疼,上腹痛,立即放射为全腹痛、严重的恶心、呕吐,可于数分钟内死于休克。中毒时间稍长者,由于草酸与组织和血中钙离子相结合而产生低血钙症,因而出现肌肉震颤,阵挛性抽搐,影响心脏,出现心跳减慢和心律不齐。这方面毒理与氟化物中毒相似。草酸钙经肾脏排泄,造成肾脏损害,引起少尿、无尿,损害输尿管及膀胱引起血尿和尿痛。慢性草酸盐中毒可在尿道内产生结石。 参考资料:中国医学百科全书编辑委员会 编;郭景元 主编.中国医学百科全书·六十六 法医学。
