Omecamtiv Mecarbil specifically targets and activates myocardial ATPase and improves energy utilization. Omecamtiv Mecarbil improves systolic function by increasing the systolic ejection duration/stroke volume, without consuming more ATP energy, oxygen or altering intracellular calcium levels causing an overall improvement in cardiac efficiency.
