  • 用途四:亚油酸是人和动物营养中必需和脂肪酸。动植物都有去饱和酶,能使饱和脂肪酸脱氢,生成油酸一类的具有一个双键的不饱和脂肪酸,但只有植物细胞具备使油酸进一步脱氢成亚油酸的能力。亚油酸是合成动物前列腺素的前体。缺乏亚油酸的亚麻酸等脂肪酸,会使动物发育不良,皮肤和肾损伤,不育等。亚油酸能与胆固醇结合成酯,并可进而促使胆固醇降解为胆酸,然后排出体外,亦有降低甘油三酯作用。在医药上用于预防和治疗动脉粥样硬化药物(如益寿宁、脉通等)的原料。在工业方面,亚油酸用于油漆、油墨的生产及制取酰胺、聚酯、聚脲等。亚油酸钠盐或钾盐是肥皂的成分之一,并可用作乳化剂等表面活性剂。亚油酸无毒。
