方法一:目前国内工业化生产乙基氯化物主要采用五硫化二磷法，即由五硫化二磷先与乙醇反应制得乙基硫化物，再经氯化制得乙基氯化物，副产物氯化硫可用亚硫酸钠分解。但此法耗用大量的亚硫酸钠，生产设备庞大，而且产生大量废水，三废处理困难。因此，新工艺改用硫化钠分解氯化硫，使氯化物质量有所提高，纯度可达97％以上。S 2 Cl 2 +Na 2 S→2NaCl+3S↓ 所需硫化钠是上道工序的废气硫化氢经烧碱吸收而得。析出的硫磺成结晶状，可用于生产硫酸或五硫化二磷。具体工艺过程为：将由五硫化二磷路线制得的乙基硫化物抽入氯化反应釜中，搅拌并降温至15℃，开始通氯气，控制氯化温度在25～28℃(冬天为30～35℃)，通氯气速度约为40～50kg/h，氯气压力为0.1kPa左右。生成的氯化氢气体经石灰中和排出，反应1h后得乙基氯化物粗品，含量为63％～67％，收率94％左右。再将乙基氯化物粗品加入乙基氯化物精品中，加入复合助催化剂，在5～25℃温度下滴加18％的硫化钠水溶液，加完后于5～30℃保温反应10～20min，精制液过滤分层，油层用清水漂洗得精品，含量96％～98％，不含游离碱。除此之外，制备乙基氯化物的方法还有三氯硫磷法、乙醇钠法、乙醇碱粉法等
